For many years now, the young singers of the Children’s Choir of the State Opera have performed once each season together with musicians of the Staatskapelle in the main hall of the opera house. At the beginning of summer, the choir and orchestra turn to inspiring music from the Baroque and Classical periods. What the water knows - recital With Katrīna Paula Felsberga, soprano as a part of the event “Voice of Lake Māra: In the Depths” on August 21st. A multidisciplinary performance created by opera singer Katrīna Paula Felsberga, pianist Justine Eckhaut (France), and performance artist Beāte Poikāne. The producer is the INITIUM Foundation. The program includes a new work by composer Annija Anna Zariņa, created specifically for this event.
